Her deadly dreams leave her in grave danger...

Since half-vampire Cat Crawfield and her undead lover Bones met six years ago, they've fought against the rogue undead, battled a vengeful Master vampire, and pledged their devotion with a blood bond. Now it's time for a vacation. But their hopes for a perfect Paris holiday are dashed when Cat awakes one night in terror. She's having visions of a vampire named Gregor who's more powerful than Bones and has ties to her past that even Cat herself didn't know about.

Gregor believes Cat is his and he won't stop until he has her. As the battle begins between the vamp who haunts her nightmares and the one who holds her heart, only Cat can break Gregor's hold over her. She'll need all the power she can summon in order to bring down the baddest bloodsucker she's ever faced . . . even if getting that power will result in an early grave.

DESTINED FOR AN EARLY GRAVE starts with Cat and Bones going on a vacation in Paris. Let's admit it, they NEED a vacation! But shortly after arriving in Paris there plans for a lovely and romantic time with each other is ruined when Master Vamp Gregor invades Cat's dreams for he is the dream snatcher. Gregor is convinced Cat belongs to him, and he is determined to steal her back from Bones. Cat and Bones face there strongest enemy who has almost destroyed everything that make Cat and Bones invincible. Jealousy, insecurity and fear.

Cat and Bones are both reckless in this book. I find this book more of a test for their love for each other. Cat and Bones argue constantly in this book. They both have their own ways on how to deal with Gregor. Bones has become way too overprotective and very controlling on how things are going to happen and what he is going to do. And I feel Cat is kind of reckless in this book, very reckless.

They were way too immature and stubborn where Cat questioned Bones devotion to her as her husband. They end of saying hurtful things to each other that hurts them both I think this is both of their faults. Cat and Bones are a pair. They need to confide in each other no matter who the threat this. They make each other strong and they need to talk to each other so they are on the same page.

Honestly, this book was really emotional for me. I was screaming in my head the entire time. I just found them so stubborn with each other. Cat was hurt. Bones was hurt. They won't talk to each other. And they are barely seeing each other. But Spade, Ian, and Mencheres are all there for our lovely couple.

We discover some secrets from Mencheres that he has kept from Bones all this time. A "WTF" surprise that involves Justine. And all the fighting and arguing Cat and Bones had doesn't change the fact that they were made for each other. Overall, this was a fantastic read and I admit I felt lots of tears coming, Cat and Bones can do that to you. Now I am caught up with the Night Huntress Series wishing the fifth book was out. I really need some more Cat and Bones.
