I am Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee. Head over there and join in on the fun, and meet some new blogger friends.
Do you have an under-noticed author that you think we should all know about?
You know that is a hard question. I usually look on goodreads a lot under how many people have read the books I am crazy about and I think Craolyn Crane's Disillusionist Trilogy needs more notice and also Dianne Sylvan's Queen of Shadow book needs more attention. Both came out just recently of course and sometimes we're weary about reading books in a series in less some more are out because we would like to see what happens next right away. But I think more people need to check out these books especially Queen of Shadows by Dianne Sylvan. But I bet there are tons of those authors that we don't know about that we should check out, it's up to out book buddies to help us out. =D
I'm also taking part in the Book Blogger Hop hosted by Crazy For Books so head over to join in on the fun.
What is the thing you like most about reading book blogs? Is it the reviews, authors guest posts, articles, giveaways, or something else entirely?
There really is quite a few things. Sometimes it depends on the blogger too. I love some bloggers that make their blog so beautiful with design whether they do it themselves or have a designer design it for them. It is just when you go on their blog you enjoy being on there and love looking at the pretty designs they have on their blog and it just makes you want to stay on their blog and visit more and more. I also love giveaways, but come on, who doesn't? Giveaways are fun for everyone. I have been in the blog world for about a month now and OMG I won three giveaways so far! Yah!
I also love the features that bloggers have on their blog. Like we have the meme which are fun and a great way for bloggers to connect with others, but some bloggers have their own features, like on Book Lovers Inc. they have their own unique features, Bookish Rants and Raves, and The Good, The Bad, and The Are You Kidding Me?, and I really love these. Every blog is different and they all have different things on their blog.

ReplyDeleteI can heartily recommend our own Tribute Books author, Molly Roe. She is the author of the young adult historical fiction, Call Me Kate: Meeting the Molly Maguires. It is the first of a trilogy of books about three sisters growing up in a coal mining town during the Civil War era. It also won the Mom's Choice Award.
ReplyDeleteI also love the books of Tommie Lyn - a fantastic self-published author.
The meme can be fun, like this one. But sometimes I need a break from them too. Here is why I read book blogs. Happy blog hop!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely agree about blog design...along with anything that makes a blogger's personality shine. It's often as much fun getting to know the blogger's unique style as it is getting to know the books! ^_^

After I posted my post I thought about Carolyn Crane. She is amazing, isn't she? I'm hoping she's getting more and more read as time goes on, though.
