MACKAYLA LANE
Mac was just another 22 year old young woman but then her life was turned upside down when her sister, Alina was murdered in Ireland while studying abroad. Upon arriving in Dublin she soon realizes that not everything is as it seems. Her life begins to change when everything she sees, is different from what she originally thought. Strange things begin to transpire, she begins to see things a normal person should not be seeing. She is then told by a mysterious stranger that she is not like everybody else, that she can see the Fae(Or Fairy).
JERICHO BARRONS
Jericho Barrons isn't like anyone else out there in the world, for many reasons. The main one would be that he isn't exactly human. He is everything you can't imagine. Strong, Magical, Powerful, dark and demanding. From the beginning he is cold and dark, but what you don't see on the outside is who he really is. Vulnerability isn't something that is a common thing when it comes to Jericho, he likes to hide his emotions for whatever reason. Having a dark past can do that to you, he is intriguing, attractive to boot and everything you would want in a savior. But there are things he hides, and is determined to keep them locked away in the deep part of himself.
THE COUPLE
Mac and Barrons are complete opposites. But you got to admit for those that have read the series, you gotta love this relationship. Ms. Barbie Doll and Mr. Dark and Handsome. Mac and Barrons are not a couple in this book as of now but what to think about the last and final book, SHADOWFEVER? Do you think they have a change in getting together. Does Jericho Barrons care for Mackayla Lane? What about Mac? After DREAMFEVER, has she developed something real for Barrons or is it just attraction? Many fans including me want Mac and Jericho to happen, what do you think?
Thank you KAREN MARIE MONING for creating such amazing characters that we love to become addicted and obsessed with. SHADOWFEVER RELEASE DATE IS JANUARY 18, 2011.
**Character Descriptions from KKM FORUMS.**
He Studied me with his predators gaze, assessing me from head to toe. I studied him back. He didn’t just occupy space, he saturated it. The room had been full of books before, but now it was full of him. About thirty, six feet two or three, he had dark hair, golden skin and dark eyes. His features were strong, chiselled. I couldn’t pinpoint his nationality anymore than I could his accent, some kind of European crossed with old world Mediterranean or maybe an ancestor with dark gypsy blood. He wore an elegant, dark grey Italian suit, a crisp white shirt, and a muted pattern tie. He wasn’t handsome. That was too calm a word. He was intensely masculine. He was sexual. He was attracted. There was an omnipresent carnality about him, in his dark eyes, in his dark mouth, in the way he stood. He was the kind of man I wouldn’t flirt with in a million years.
I. LOVE. Barrons. It's one of my favorite book series. I really hope that they get together in the end. And I really really really really hope that I'm wrong about what happened at the end of Dreamfever....like I really hope that its not who i think it was. Can't wait for Shadowfever!!!
