I like these paperback covers, but I don't think the paperback compares to how much I like the hardback covers for the Across the Universe Series. The other ones bring out more color and these ones fit the space look in a way, but just seem okay to me.
I love the hardcover more because it's more mystifying and colorful.

The paperbacks make me think more mystery whereas the hardcover say fantasy...to me at least
ReplyDeleteI have to agree, I like the hardcover version better. I think it's dumb that they changed the cover completely between hardcover and paperback.

Wow, I'm surprised that the paperback is being released so soon after the hardcover release. I don't really like either paperback covers (too sci-fi for me), but I LOVE both hardback covers and think they are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBUT I do think that it might be a good way to get boys to read the books because I'm sure many of them would shy away from the glittery covers that suggest lots of romance in the books. However, I thought the reversible cover for the Across the Universe hardcover was a genius idea because that made it look less girly as well.
