Q: What negative review made you buy the book?


Honestly, I don't know! Ummm...Let me think...let me think.... It's hard to really say any book, because before I read a book I look at both negative and positive reviews and I don't necessarily judge if I want to read the book by a negative review or not, or I don't remember what negative review stood out that made me wanna read a book and liked it.

So I can't really say any of the book. Mostly it's the positive reviews that make me wanna read, "said" book.

    Me too! Although I have been influenced not to read a book or two because their review made it seem like I wouldn't enjoy it. Although I generally wouldn't read a review if I didn't feel like the book was for me. So it was probably just one or two instances. But I was a little skeptical about the book to begin with.

    I think it depends.. Most of the times I read positive reviews, then read the books and think they sucked. Then I read negative reivews, read the book and think think they sucked. No, kidding. It's just.. I don't really care about the rating people give, as long as they say WHY they gave the rating.. and "I liked it because it was good" isn't an explanation LOL

    I try to come up with my own opinion of the book so I try not to look at the written reviews before I read. I do agree though that a positive review will make me more likely to want to read a book!

    Old follower. Great answer, when I'm looking for reviews I usually balance out each review on a scale between good and bad and then what my friends thought. I usually come around to reading them anyway. Have a wonderful weekend.
