When you can see things others can't, where do you look for the truth?

This paranormal murder mystery will have teens reading on the edge of their seats.

Clarity "Clare" Fern sees things. Things no one else can see. Things like stolen kisses and long-buried secrets. All she has to do is touch a certain object, and the visions come to her. It's a gift.

And a curse.

When a teenage girl is found murdered, Clare's ex-boyfriend wants her to help solve the case--but Clare is still furious at the cheating jerk. Then Clare's brother--who has supernatural gifts of his own--becomes the prime suspect, and Clare can no longer look away. Teaming up with Gabriel, the smoldering son of the new detective, Clare must venture into the depths of fear, revenge, and lust in order to track the killer. But will her sight fail her just when she needs it most?

CLARITY is one of those books you read and cannot stop reading til you put the book down. I was so memorized by CLARITY.

Clarity is the heroine of the book and she and her family are physics and have these special abilities. Clarity is able to touch an object and look back to what happened in the past. Clarity is a bit of a loner. She doesn't really have any friends, hangs out her her brother and his friend Nate. People shun her because of the physic thing. I don't really mind that Clarity is a bit of a loner. A lot of young adult novels have the heroine where she has a best friend and stuff, but most of those books I don't like the best friends at all. And I think authors sometimes think of it a must to have a best friend and all, but to me none of them were that much likable to me. I think it is interesting to have a book that is a loner.

Justin is Clarity's ex-boyfriend. Okaiexz. I for one hate cheating ex's you know. But OMG. If Clarity won't take Justin I will. Justin is just so lovable and if you haven't noticed already I'm Team Justin. You can tell that Justin cares a lot for Clarity and would do anything in the world for her. Justin has been like Clarity's only best friend. He is one of the only few people that don't shun her because she is different. He likes that she is different. He finds it intriguing. And the whole cheating thing. You find out there is more to the story then Clarity had known. I really hope that they get back together.

His lips twitched, fighting a smile. Ugh. I was going for "crazy ex filled with hate" not "isn't she cute when she's mad?"

Gabriel is the detective's son who works with Clarity to solve the murder that has taken place. You know I really didn't know what I thought about Gabriel in the beginning. I mean I like him and would like to know more about him, but I like Justin more and wish for Clarity to be with him. Gabriel has a problem with physics due to an incident that happened in his past. But he likes Clarity a lot. He is trying to ignore his feeling for her. Hmmm...I wonder how long that is going to last. I would to know more about this guy. He hasn't really impressed me in the I like Clarity category. Hopefully he will do better in the next book.

I loved the characters! I loved Clarity's family and that is rare for me. I find that in young adult novels I don't really care for the brother or mom, because it is like they are usually invisible, you don't see much of them. But that is not the case in Clarity. Her mom and brother are very involved and very likable.

I loved the suspense, murder mystery aspect and most of all the romance. The ending was perfect and I am very interested in what will happen in the next book. I loved this book and look forward to more from new Debut author, Kim Harrington.
