They have come a long way since the the first book in the series, but both have to give a little bit. Ethan started to have possible regrets but seen past them which hurt Merit and is scared to open herself up to Ethan again. But in time I think she will.
I have way too many favorite Merit and Ethan scenes/moments to count she I'll probably be listing a lot of them in the comments. I had fallen in love with these two since the minute I picked up the first book and I hope they have a happily ever after.

Loved this one. Especially the Hard Bitten quote. Makes the ending that much more heart breaking.
