Hi, Ethan. Thank you so much for meeting with me today.
Ethan: You're very welcome.
I think this is something we all want to know. What do you think of Merit? When you look into her eyes what do you see?
Ethan: My future, I hope. But that decision, such as it is, is up to her. I can only hope that she makes the right one.
What is it like being the master vampire of Cadogan?
Ethan: *Frowning* Difficult at times. Challenging at times. Miraculous at times. There are instances when I want to shake my vampires by the shoulders. There are moments when I want to praise them incessantly. It is both a boon and a burden to have the lives of so many in hand. I can only hope I shoulder that burden gracefully.
You have shown quite an interest in Merit, why should she choose you?
Ethan: *Arching eyebrow* I'm not entirely sure how to answer that. I suppose if she has to debate it, she probably
shouldn't. And, to be honest, there are times when I've certainly given her second thoughts. I must hope she has hope for the two of us.

What's something that Merit would be surprised to learn about you? Any dirty secrets...hmmmm...
Ethan: Hmm. Well, I haven't been to an American movie theater since 1973. And my favorite cologne is Farenheit.
How are you a different master than Scott Grey and Morgan Greer?
Ethan: I'm not sure I am in kind, only by degrees, perhaps. Scott runs his House different, and has a different relationship with his vampires. A more military sensibility in my opinion. Morgan . . . Well. I'm not entirely sure he runs his House at all. The manner of his Mastery is yet to be seen, I think.
You have once talked about Merit's humanity...Is humanity a weakness or a strength for you?
Ethan: A year ago, I would have answered "weakness" without a second thought. But now. . .perhaps it can be both, depending upon how it is applied.
Since Merit has been your Chicago eats connoisseur, what has been you favorite thing to eat so far?
Ethan: The hot dog was quite good, actually.
What is your idea of wooing Merit?
Ethan: By showing confidence in her abilities and accepting her weaknesses.
