Thanatos, the most deadly Horseman of the Apocalypse, has endured thousands of years of celibacy to prevent the end of days. But just one night with the wickedly sexy Aegis Guardian, ReganCooper, shatters centuries of resolve. Yet their passion comes with a price. And Thanatos must face a truth more terrifying than an apocalypse-he’s about to become a father.

Demon-slayer Regan Cooper never imagined herself the maternal type, but with the fate of the world hanging in the balance she had no choice but to seduce Thanatos and bear his child. Now, as the final battle draws closer and his rage at being betrayed is overshadowed by an undeniable passion for the mother of his child, Thanatos has a life-shattering realization: To save the world, he must sacrifice the only thing he’s ever wanted-a family.

“Kiss me?” There was a vulnerability in his request that had such a powerful effect on her that she almost choked up. In answer, she lifted her head up and touched her lips to his.

LETHAL RIDER was freaking AMAZING! It exceeded all of my expectations, but of course, how could Thantos not impress me. This book was full of complete EPIC-NESS! You will be AMAZED. I promise you that! LETHAL RIDER takes place about 8 months after Regan betrayed Thantos into having sex with her to get pregnant. Thantos has been in hell, held and unable to move by the hellhound saliva and does not know that Regan is pregnant. He only has hate for her betrayal and at his siblings for keeping him held down for the past 8 months.

“I have some more staff members to interrogate.” He winked. “I’ll try to keep their screams at a minimum.” Yeah, he really did have a quirky sense of humor. Especially because she had no doubt he was actually serious.

Thantos eventually gets free and comes after Regan only to learn that she is pregnant. He has all kinds of different thoughts and feelings on the subject. Firstly, a baby, a family is all he has ever wanted and he could never have. It seems like a dream come true except that the baby is his agimortus and may possibly be the key to destroying Pestilence. Thantos is determined to keep Regan and the baby safe at all costs.

“I wasn’t lying when I said you’d awakened something sexual in me, something that frankly scares the shit out of me. But that’s my problem, not yours. I won’t make you do anything you don’t want to do.”

There were so many moments in the book where I was happy, sad, and angry with rage that it was so funny! Regan betrayed Thantos in the previous book and not only that, but she was going to give the baby to Kynan and Gem to raise thinking she won’t be a suitable mother. She has had a rough childhood. But my problem is that even more than halfway through the book almost that she is still talking about giving it to them. She is attached, and this is Thanto’s kid too, so he definitely has some say. I mean, the Aegis and her took like everything from him.

“Here’s how this goes. No Guardians. I don’t trust any of them, including you. You can have as much ice cream as you want. I doubt I’ll stop ordering you around.” He turned his face away and put his lips to her ear. “And you don’t get your own bedroom. You sleep here. With me.

I thought Regan had a lot of growing up to do in LETHAL RIDER. I liked her as the heroine, but I felt like she was a bit tortured as well and had a lot of growing to do as a character. Thantos was PERFECTION! We get to learn some interesting things about him and not that we didn’t already know this, but HE IS SO FREAKING SEXY! THANTOS IS A GOD! He is definitely my favorite Horseman of the Apocalypse. There were so many moments that I could just rewind and rewind and rewind!

“So ask me again why I’ll win a battle of wills.” “Fine.” She jammed her feet under the covers. “Why?” “Because I’m immortal and you’re a mere human. I have an eternity to out-stubborn you.”

Overall, LETHAL RIDER was JAM-PACKED with nothing but EPIC-NESS! There was so much that happened that I could not possibly explain it all in one single review. I must say this! If you didn’t already hate the Aegis, you will want to murder them and wish the most deadliest and most painful death on them! Trust me, you will! I speak the truth! I am really looking forward to Reseph’s book and I can already tell from the sneak peek chapter that it is going to be an amazing book.

Review: Immortal Rider by Larissa Ione

The signs are everywhere...disastrous world events. Evil rising up, unleashed upon the innocent. The prophecies were there...but no one listened. Until now. The time has come for those who can either usher in Doomsday...or prevent it. They are here. They ride. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Arik Wagner, a soldier with the U.S. Army's paranormal unit, the R-XR, kissed a girl and liked it. And then he went to hell as punishment. Where he's spent weeks being tortured...and plotting revenge.

Limos, Horsewoman of the Apocalypse, isn't your average girl. She's immortal, dangerous, and her fiancé is Satan himself. In a moment of weakness, she gave in to her desire and kissed Arik, triggering her fiancé's wrath - and his claim on her. In order to save Arik, and the world, Limos must make a dangerous pact with her recently turned evil brother, Pestilence. A deal that might just cost her her soul...and her heart.

IMMORTAL RIDER was a bit of a disappointment coming from a huge Larissa Ione fan. Don't get me wrong, I still loved the book, but aside from that there were quite a few disappointing happenings in IMMORTAL RIDER.

Our heroine this time around was the sexy and badass, Limos who is one of the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Limos was the #1 reason why I did not dig this book so much. I found Limos incredibly selfish and she was caught in enough lies that she didn't know what to do with them all. Limos lying and selfishness where she only watched out for herself and only herself really made me dislike her greatly.

I couldn't even enjoy the love story between the heroine and hero. That's how bad it was. I don't think I had ever really disliked a heroine as much as I disliked Limos. I felt like she and the hero didn't connect well and it was just lust and I didn't really see that magic romance in the pairing that I do in other Paranormal Romance novels.

I don't know how I feel about Arik being the hero of the story. It's nice and all, but I just felt like he was in the Demonica World and just got thrown together with Limos to become a couple. I may feel that way because the pairing seemed so off and that I didn't enjoy them as I felt I should have. Basically the main storyline is what I didn't enjoy.

But Larissa Ione's amazing writing is still there. I was still so into the story even though I didn't enjoy the main couple. Thantos book is next and he is the secondary storyline going on in this book and I loved every minute of it! Thantos is paired with Regan, the Aegis guardian and They are so HOT that steam came out from the pages.

Their storyline was so amazing that I couldn't stop reading and let's just say Larissa Ione set some up something HUGE for Thantos's book, Lethal Rider. And right now I have a feeling that it will be the best book in the Lords of the Deliverance Series. The wait til June 2012 is just going to kill me! That is just how good the Thantos/Regan storyline was!

I was mostly really disappointed in IMMORTAL RIDER, but the plus of it was that I was still able to enjoy it, because it is impossible for me to not enjoy some aspects of an Larissa Ione book. I can't wait for the Lethal Rider and hope it blows IMMORTAL RIDER and Eternal Rider right out of the water!

Review: Eternal Rider by Larissa Ione

They are here. They ride. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

His name is Ares, and the fate of mankind rests on his powerful shoulders. If he falls to the forces of evil, the world falls too. As one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, he is far stronger than any mortal, but even he cannot fight his destiny forever. Not when his own brother plots against him.

Yet there is one last hope. Gifted in a way other humans can't-or won't-understand, Cara Thornhart is the key to both this Horseman's safety and his doom. But involving Cara will prove treacherous, even beyond the maddening, dangerous desire that seizes them the moment they meet. For staving off eternal darkness could have a staggering cost: Cara's life.

Fan of the Demonica Series? What are you waiting for then. Larissa Ione's Demonica Series is my all-time favorite Paranormal Romance and learning that there would be a spin off I screamed with joy.

Some of you may remember Ares from the end of the last and final Demonica book, Sin Undone as the sexy warrior who was rumored to belong to EVILOVE.com. Ares is the second Horsemen of the Apocalypse known as War. Ares is so hot. Okay, I know I probably had said that about all the guys in the Demonica World but it's so true.

Ares is a fighter and a bit serious at times. I am sure that Ares drove a few people crazy at times. He was an ass a lot of the time to his future lover, Cara. He fights his feelings for her and it is just so frustrating to watch and you're going crazy for the whole book wondering when he is going to accept that he is in love with Cara. But when they finally do get it on they became so hot that steam came out of the pages.

"No bra,” he said against her mouth. “Thank you. I hate those things. Dumbest human invention. Ever."

Cara would not be my favorite heroine out of the other heroines from the Demonica Series, but she was quite interesting I'll admit. She has had a troubling past and part of that past has to do with this special gift she has. At the beginning I felt that Cara was too weak, but she did grow into a woman that is suitable for Ares. She has to fight for her life and she turns into a real warrior.

We do get guest appearances from our favorite Demonica characters and it was quite a treat. I missed them so much. But to give the question out was ETERNAL RIDER better than Demonica series? I can't give that out yet for the fact that only one book of the spin off series, Lord of the Deliverance is out, but right now I am still more in love with the Demonica series.

I am looking forward to reading about the other Horsemen of the Apocalypse and I hope that they are just as great and Ares was because I am ready for more
