Top 10 Books I Read in 2010!

We have had some pretty awesome books this year, correct? Of course we have. I have just started into the Adult Paranormal Romance and Urban Fanatsy Genre this year and stumbbled upon AMAZING Series and hope to find some more amazing series next year as well. But I really think some of the amazing reads that I read in 2010 are well worth mentioning. So let's see what made it on my Top 10 for 2010!

Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead
Most Anticipated Book of the Year! Last Sacrifice had very high expectations with being the last and final in the vampire academy series and it did not disappoint. I could read this book over and over again. I love all of these characters and will miss them. I love how DImitri and Rose fell in love with each other all over again on their little journey together. I thought everything was perfect even with including Rose's parents. I was highly satisfied with the ending =D

Queen of Shadows by Dianne Sylvan
#1 Urban Fantasy Debut Author of 2010 OMG. This book blew me away. I was so surprised that I liked this book so much, but now I am so obsessed with this book and all read for Shadowflame. For a Debut author of this genre she hit the ratings of the chart for me. I love how the heroine starts out lonely and a little weak, but throughout the book she grows into a strong person. And I just love something about a geeky vampire...hehe. I am really excited to see where the story goes from here. =D

Dreamfever by Karen Marie Moning
Haven't heard of Barrons before? I'll introduce you...Honestly, if you haven't heard of Karen Marie Moning before I want to ask where have you been? She is a NYT BESTSELLING AUTHOR for a reason. I will just tell you that you will love this series by the time you get to the end of book 2. Best Urban Fantasy Series Ever! 2 words = Jericho Barrons...Who is he? Read and find out! =D

One Foot in the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
CAT AND BONES. I know you must've heard of them before. This year I have been the luckiest girl to be hooked on some mega awesome UF series and Night Huntress was something I had craved and didn't even know it til I read it. And when I was introduced to Bones this year..OMFG. TOP #5 MEN I WANT! Jeaniene Frost is amazing and leaves you wanting more and more. I now that one day the Night Huntress Series will come to an end, but I am going to enjoy it while it last with audiobooks, fablous quotes and dozens of re-reads. =D

Twice Bitten by Chloe Neill
Master Vampire Ethan Sullivan. God. I just love saying his name. I started this series this year also and I could not put book 1 down until I finished the whole series, which only two books were out and I was going insane waiting for Twice Bitten, but now after finishing Twice BItten I am now going insane waiting for Hard Bitten. Chloe Neill has been added to my favorite vampire series EVER. And who can not love Ethan and Merit. I need more of them. =D

Magic Bleeds by Ilona Andrews
I discovered the Kate Daniels Series this year and I officially get it! I know why it is a favorite and I need my Curran fix now! I gotta say. Curran = Favorite Shifter EVER! Magic Strikes vs. Magic Bleeds...Oh, god. Please don't make me choose. Both Best Books in the Series for different reasons. But I loved Magic Strikes a bit more...I am dying for Magic Slays. I love Kate and Curran's relationship and how well the author's developed it. Everytime I am reading/re-reading and Kate and Curran are up next I can't stop laughing. =D

Sin Undone by Larissa Ione
Demons have never been this HOT before! I perfer UF over PNR any day of the week but when it comes to the Demonica Series I will drop everything I am reading just to read the next book. Larissa Ione has created a PNR Series that just captures me and throws me into her world and I never want to leave. I mean if the Men were as hot as these, would you? Sin Undone was the last and final in the Demonica Series and in my opnion the best book out of the series. The Sem Brother's sister, Sin gets her own book and made it on my list of Best PNR Book as well as best cover. =D

Grave Witch by Kalayna Price
Death is a real person now! OMG. I loved Grave Witch. Very addicting. This one is about witches, ghosts, and fae. We have death as a real person and I want to thank Kalayna Price for that. This book has a great lover triangle that and a ending that leaves me wanting more. I need more Death and Falin! And some killer magical spells to boot. =D

Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton
I got a copy of Angelfire and OMG. I can already tell this is going to be a bestseller. Will and Ellie. Reapers, Angels and Demons. My kind of book. Cover is gorgous and the storyline keeps you going and the action, let me tell you this book is engaging and will leave you wanting the next book and it doesn't even come out til 2012. Debut Author, Courtney Allison Moulton is off to a great start with Angelfire. =D

Silver Borne by Patricia Briggs
Adam and Mercy. OMG. This Series is just getting better and better. I admit I was not hooked immediatedly like some people but reading on and on I ended up loving this book. I think Silver Borne is the best in the series. If you love werewolves and shifters, trust me, you're going to love Mercy Thompson =D

  3. Awesome picks, as your question where have I been, living in a Cave I think - what is wrong with me? I tend to read all these series in 2011.

  4. Really good choices. I really wanted Queen of Shadows for Christmas but I didn't get it. I did however get $100 in Borders gift cards so I know what will be the first book in my shopping bag :-)
