So I got Archangel's Consort from Berkley Sensation. yah! Thank you so much. I also just received Delirium by Lauren Oliver from NetGallery. One thing is I am so mad that NetGallery has disabled the Kindle feature where they send to your kindle. Because I honestly cannot stand the Adobe Digital Editions Reader. I cannot stand it so much that I can't read the book. I read the first 100 pages so far, but it is so hard to keep going because of my hate for the Reader I am reading it on. I really hope that they bring back the kindle feature soon, because I just cannot read on a reader that I dislike so much. It is driving me crazy.

But aside from the E-reader, I am 100 pages in and it is good so far. I haven't read a dystopia book before, and I find that Delirium is really interesting. I think the concept that love is a disease is really interesting and unique. I look forward to continuing this book and hope that the rest of it is really good.

  1. I transfer the netgalley books from adobe editions into my e-reader, I guess you mustn't be able to do that with a Kindle.

  2. I thought the kindle-editions have been restored? I agree with you, I am not able to read for long stretches on the computer either. These two books are both on my wishlist :)

  3. I also hate Adobe Digital Editions and won't read them if I can't get them in Kindle format. I haven't checked if it has been fixed yet. But I hope you enjoy your books! Happy reading. :)

  4. I'm right there with you on the Kindle thing. You just can't get into reading it the same way when it's formatted like that.

  5. Fab reads! Especially Delirium.
I don't have a problem with Adobe Digital Editions but I'm not a big fan of the PDF format b/c the print is so small.

  6. NO WAY! I am so angry and about the Kindle thing. BOO! I'm glad I have a bunch of Galleys on my Kindle for now. I hope it's restored. :(

  8. OMG, if you thought the first 100 pages were good, wait til you read the rest of it! I, personally, thought the first 1/3 of the book was a bit on the slow side but the remaining 2/3 more than made up for it.

I believe NetGalley is working on the Kindle situation. I hope they bring the Kindle feature back and soon!

  11. I recently just picked up the first book in the Guild Hunters series and I can't wait to read it because everyone is raving about the series. I'm unsure about Delirium but I guess I'll wait till I read more reviews on it to know if I will like it or not.
    Happy Reading! :)
