Favorite Book this Month. Worst Book this month...

So I haven't really read that many books this month and plus I've been reading kinda slow lately, so there's not this huge selection to really go by. But Best book I've read this month would be the only positive star review I"ve had which is, Sacrificial Magic by Stacia Kane.  And the worse book was totally a DNF and that was Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers. It was an absolute pain to try and get through this book and I wasn't spending 560 pages reading the book to find out either. Totally wasn't for me. 8/

  1. Noooooooooo! GM was that bad? I've heard such mixed reviews on that one! SO happy that SM is your favorite of the month though! Would you ever have thought you'd be saying that? :)

    1. nope. I"ve only read like three books this month, so it's like what the hell can I put. SM is the only book I've given a really good rating to though. And I don't count that that Curran POV as a book. Haha!

I couldn't even get through Grave Mercy. It was incredibly boring and a bit of a mislead. 8/

  7. Was it just not your kind of genre or plot, or did the writing style rub you the wrong way?

    1. My review from goodreads explains it best. I think it was mainly my personal taste, not for me. A lot of other people liked it.

  10. Aw, sorry you didn't enjoy Grave Mercy! I've seen it in quite a few posts this morning as a DNF. I have it on my Kindle, so I hope to read it soon to see what I think.

    Have a great weekend :)

  14. I'm disappointed to hear that about Grave Mercy. I haven't read it yet, but I will in the next week or so. It seems to have gotten some pretty mixed reviews, but I hope it isn't a DNF for me. Those make me so sad!
